What's a Party without Music?

Continuing the theme of themes in parties, today, we’ll talk about music in parties! Good music sets the mood for a good party and makes it more enjoyable. Music makes the world go round and it’s time to make your party go round too. Check out these types of music and what they’ll add to your party!

1.EDM (Electronic Dance Music): Unless you’re an old fashioned music fan or are 50 at heart, EDM is the music that’ll appeal to the youth of today! EDM makes you want to jump around and swing your body to the music. It makes you feel like moving and showing off your cool moves. Throw on some Skrillex or Deadmau5 and let the beat drop. Use this music if you want to have a party where everyone keeps dancing!

2.Pop music: Pop music is a little more mellow and a POPular (pardon the pun) choice amongst the youth. It makes for good conversation during the party and can also double as a good track to dance to. This dance can be more intimate, though, as a lot of pop songs are about love. Use this music if you are expecting couples to come to the party. Throw on some Taylor Swift or Katy Perry and watch the sparks fly!

3.Classic rock music: The genre that most musicians swear by as the best type of music, classic rock music has a certain ring to it that is unique. It makes your head move but has no dancing style as such, but people do love to groove to the music! Throw on some Queen or Guns N Roses and watch people go crazy, singing along!

4.Jazz music: Are you expecting dancers and people who love organized dance to your party? Time for some jazz! This interesting and complex form of music is used for a variety of dance moves. Jazz sets a suave mood, with a beat that makes people want to break into dance. Dance away!
