• Set up interviews with potential photographers.

Once you have finalized on a few photographers, set up interviews with each one of them just to get a better idea about their work. During the interview, review their work and them in general. Since you will be paying for the photographs, make sure that you are hiring someone that you actually like. • Finalize your shooter(s)!

If you are opting for a photography studio, understand that they have a lot of photographers on board. So, to avoid any surprises at the last moment, make sure that you tell the photo studio which photographer or team of photographers you want. Photographers are busy people as they have shoots lined months in advance. So, it is possible that they forget to deliver your photos on time. Therefore, you need to set a date of delivery for all the photos and follow up with your photographer on a regular basis.
